Speakers

Mike Barry (International Sustainable Business Consultant)
Mike is an international leader in sustainable change. One of the pioneers of green business in the corporate world, he helped to develop, launch and implement Marks & Spencer’s ground-breaking sustainability programme, Plan A (because there is no Plan B for the one world we have). In ten years, Plan A delivered £750m of net business benefit and won 230 awards.

Doogie Black (CEO, Climate Sense)
Doogie is the founding member and CEO of Climate Sense. He pioneered the development of the proprietary capacity mapping platform that identifies and quantifies an organisation’s climate agility (i.e. their ability to adapt to climate-related threats). Doogie has a particular focus on climate change resilience and supports organisations to optimise their use of climate and risk data to produce climate-informed decision-making. Doogie was the UK principal expert in developing ISO 14090 (2019) – the first ever international standard on climate change resilience and sits on the BSI Adaptation to Climate Change Committee.

Rosa Foster (Director, Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission)
Rosa is passionate about climate adaptation, nature, people, equity and collaborating to rapidly reduce carbon emissions. Having worked in operational leadership roles for the Environment Agency for more than 20 years, and being involved in the Commission from its inception, Rosa became Climate Commission Director in May 2024. Rosa is responsible for the smooth running of both the Yorkshire and Humber Climate Commission and Leeds Climate Commission. She is also a member of the Yorkshire and Humber Forestry and Woodlands Advisory Committee.

Camilla Timms (Sustainable Resources Advisor, National Trust and previously MOD)
Camilla is an environmental science graduate and professional who is passionate about sustainability, particularly in a business sense. She has been working in the central Climate and Environmental Team at the National Trust since 2017. Prior to that, Camilla worked for ten years as the Sustainability Advisor for a key supplier of the MOD responsible for managing the military training areas across the UK. Before that, she spent five years with the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust in their pioneering Sustainable Communities Department.

Tom Curtis (Director, 3Keel)
Tom aims to make the connection between sustainable businesses and sustainable landscapes. Businesses and investors across sectors are recognising that the condition of natural systems is material to their long-term ability to thrive. This is both about businesses’ impact on the environment and the impact of degraded environments on business. Grounding himself in his practical experience, Tom works at a strategic level to understand, manage and help reverse these impacts.

Louisa Harrison-Walker OBE (CEO, Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry)
Louisa is the Chief Executive at the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Industry – a membership organisation committed to making Sheffield the best place to start, run and grow a successful and sustainable business, charity or social enterprise. Louisa is an established social entrepreneur who founded Benchmark – an award-winning ethical employment firm in 2006. She is a graduate of Goldman Sachs 10KSB, Common Purpose and NLP.
