Production Operative (Warehouse/Seed & Turf)
| Salary | £21,240.38 per annum which is pro rata the full time equivalent of £26,227.50 – £26,550.48 |
| Contract | One year fixed term with potential to become permanent |
| Hours | 30 hours per week, working 8.00am to 4.00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, with flexibility around when the remaining 2 days are worked (8.00am to 4.00pm Wednesday/Thursday/Friday) |

The Green Estate CIC is an award-winning social enterprise which aims to grow green and resilient urban places for people and nature to thrive. We have recently launched an ambitious three-year growth plan which includes expanding our commercial nature-based solutions products and services across the UK and EU, and raising our profile as a national urban resilience demonstrator.
Applicants will have experience of warehouse operations and working with inventory software/systems, good IT skills, experience in landscape maintenance, and confidence in using and maintaining landscape machinery such as hand mowers, hedge cutters and strimmers. They will have an eye for detail, a track record in adhering to systems and processes and be a team player. A full UK driving license and the ability and willingness to drive company vehicles is also essential.
For 3 days per week, the postholder will assist with the general running of our Pictorial Meadows® seed production warehouse including mixing and dispatch, stock taking and quality control, and ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely manner. For 1 day per week, they will assist with meadow turf, seed and soil production operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
