Green & Resilient Communities
We work with local communities and volunteers to take care of open green spaces, grow food and connect with nature and each other. In collaborations with universities and partners we deliver inclusive learning opportunities from KS1 through to PhD.
We share our home with a range of community enterprises who share our values, inspire us and enrich others with their work.
Green & Growing Communities
“What stood out about The Green Estate was their ability to create green, innovative and functional spaces within communities. They’re transforming neighbourhoods by bringing the beauty of nature back into urban settings – and their efforts have not gone unnoticed.”
Frances Benson (Propositions Manager at Octopus Energy)
‘The Green Estate is helping to bring all the amazing benefits of nature to people and building resilience in doing so.’
Harry Bowell, Executive Director of Land and Nature, National Trust
Education & Learning Communities

Learning
From KS1 to PhD in collaboration with universities and other partners, we offer inclusive learning pathways and a living lab space where people with diverse backgrounds can learn and share urban resilience, horticultural and heritage skills.

Enterprising Communities
We offer a range of enterprise support and host a range of formal and informal community enterprises on our site; they grow food, cut flowers, sew Tudor costumes, make furniture, run a cafe and catering, support young people to flourish and more. Get in touch to discuss.
