The Green Estate named Green Space Vitality and Accessibility Champion at the Move More Awards

We’re delighted to announce that The Green Estate was named Green Space Vitality and Accessibility Champion at the Move More Awards ceremony on Friday 28 March.

The Move More Awards celebrate the remarkable efforts of individuals, groups, organisations or initiatives in promoting sport, exercise and physical activity across Sheffield. The awards ceremony honoured those who have shown outstanding dedication, innovation and impact in creating a happier, healthier and more connected Sheffield.

The Green Estate received the Green Space Vitality and Accessibility Champion Award for our dedication to transforming Sheffield’s green spaces into inviting, accessible spaces that encourage physical activity and wellbeing.

Jayne Rotheram, The Green Estate’s Growing Communities Ranger, attended the awards ceremony and said, ‘It means a lot to win this award for the work we do with communities in S2. It’s a real privilege to spend time with the local community, getting to work with people in our beautiful green spaces, enabling greater access to our parks, and offering supported activities for movement in nature.’
