The Green Estate Staff Attend University Horticultural Officers’ Conference 2025

On 8–10 April, The Green Estate staff attended the 2025 University Horticultural Officers’ Conference at Nottingham Trent University.

The event was hosted by Horgan Alan, Landscape Services Manager at Nottingham Trent University, and sponsored by Pictorial Meadows.

The Green Estate’s Horticulture Innovation Manager, Owen Hayman, delivered a great presentation on the history of The Green Estate and Pictorial Meadows, plus the products/services that Pictorial Meadows offer.

After the presentation, The Green Estate’s Senior Landscape Manager, Tom Stanton, led a tour around the various SuDS that have been installed in Mansfield as part of town’s Sustainable Flood Resilience Scheme.

The Green Estate staff also visited the Green Heart Project in the Broad Marsh area of Nottingham City Centre, Felley Priory Gardens, Sherwood Forest, the University of Nottingham, Attenborough Nature Reserve and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.

Many thanks to Horgan Alan for organising such a great event and making all The Green Estate staff feel welcome and part of the group.
