The Green Estate CIC wins Large Social Enterprise of the Year Award

The Green Estate was delighted to accept the award for Large Social Enterprise of the Year at the SEYH (Social Enterprise Yorkshire and Humber) Awards on 26 March.

The SEYH Awards celebrate the strength, innovation and impact of social enterprises across the Yorkshire and Humber region, highlighting organisations that are delivering real change in their communities.

Sarah Slowther, The Green Estate’s Director of Development, said: ‘This award recognises the fantastic work of so many people who, over more than two decades, have grown The Green Estate to where it is today and transformed the green spaces in the Manor Castle ward and beyond. It was inspiring to be in a room with so many fantastic social enterprises doing really impactful work in their communities.’
