The Green Estate CIC is an award-winning company, recognised by the King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development and Best Supplier at the Pro Landscaper Sustainability Awards. We host the Pictorial Meadows brand, a collection of wildflower meadow seeds and turf that create long-lasting, high-impact displays that are climate-resilient and pollinator-friendly.
This role will assist meadow turf, seed and soil production operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining meadow products in line with forecast, from planting to product. This role also includes supporting innovation projects, and overseeing the operation and maintenance of equipment, machinery and irrigation systems, while ensuring all turf produced meets the stringent quality standards. You will be expected to carry out essential tasks such as good field hygiene, pest and disease monitoring, crop husbandry, and crop walking.
This role involves close collaboration with the Production Supervisor to align production with customer delivery schedules. You will play a key part in responding to customer enquiries and complaints to ensure high quality solutions.
You will also contribute to the delivery of annual KPIs and promote open communication across departments to foster teamwork and engagement.

The Green Estate CIC is a nationally acclaimed business with a mission and long track record of growing green and resilient urban places for people and nature to thrive. Our work to tackle the climate, ecological and social crisis has never been more important. With a new strategy and leadership, plus recognition from the King, we are ambitious to grow our impact, income and influence in the next few years.
You will provide executive support for the CEO, focusing on managing their schedule, keeping things running smoothly, and coordinating communications both inside and outside the organisation.
You will handle sensitive information, manage correspondence, and act as a key point of contact for Board Directors, senior leaders and important external partners. From organising Board and Leadership team meetings and taking minutes to keeping governance records up to date, your work will ensure everything stays on track.
You will also play a lead role in governance projects that need an eye for detail and strong project management skills, such as maintaining legal compliance, contracting, managing insurance policies, and special corporate projects like ESG accreditation and intellectual property protection. Prioritising urgent tasks, solving problems effectively and keeping things efficient will be at the heart of what you do.
Beyond that, you’ll support a whole range of exciting external-facing initiatives in areas like public affairs and marketing, all while building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will have excellent communication, organisation and IT skills, have high levels of emotional intelligence and integrity, with the ability to build strong relationships of trust with senior decision makers. A proactive attitude and a proven ability to stay ahead of challenges are essential.
