Manor Fields Park Receives Green Flag Award for Eleventh Year Running
The Green Estate is happy to announce that Manor Fields Park has received its eleventh Green Flag Award, which is the international quality mark for parks and green spaces.

The news that Manor Fields Park has once again met the standards required for the accreditation is testament to the hard work and dedication of our team of staff and volunteers who look after the park.

The Green Estate’s CEO, Roz Davies, said: ‘We are delighted that Manor Fields Park has received the Green Flag Award for the eleventh year. Twenty-five years ago, Manor Fields Park was a no-go wasteland with burnt-out cars and rubbish. It is now home to a wide variety of wildlife and is an exemplar urban district park which benefits the health and wellbeing of people and nature.
‘The Green Estate staff and volunteer team work incredibly hard in all weathers to ensure our local communities have one of the most beautiful and pioneering urban parks on their doorstep. At a time when there are huge inequalities in access to quality green spaces and a severe decline in biodiversity, we are not just talking about the problems but demonstrating the solution together with our partners (including park owners Sheffield City Council and the Friends of Manor Fields Park).’
