History Tours at Sheffield Manor Lodge
Join our local history experts for a fascinating guided walk through the history of Sheffield Manor Lodge!
• Discover the story of its famous occupants and learn about Mary, Queen of Scots’ fourteen years of captivity
• Explore the sixteenth century Turret House – the only roofed building still standing in England that Mary would have seen
• Learn about how Sheffield Manor Lodge has changed and adapted over the centuries to become a unique visitor destination
The tours start at 10:30am and 1:30pm from the Discovery Centre and last approx. 45 mins to 1 hour.
Dogs are allowed on the tours, but must be kept on a lead.
