A Rapid Global Review of Place-Based Urban Resilience (Online Webinar)
The Green Estate CIC has commissioned researchers from the University of Hull to undertake a deep dive into global definitions of ‘place-based urban resilience’ to help inform the development of a blueprint for place-based urban resilience in the Manor Castle Ward, Sheffield. The report draws on global discussions and proposes a working definition of ‘place-based urban resilience’ which we hope to reflect and build on in the coming months, and review periodically.
The session will include an overview of the findings of the report, a panel discussion on the working definition, and a Q&A where we would like to welcome you to share your thoughts and applicability of the definition in your work. The report is funded by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority, and the launch event is funded by the Yorkshire Policy Innovation Partnership.
