Lord Mayor of Bochum Visits The Green Estate

On Sunday 5 May, The Green Estate welcomed the Lord Mayor Thomas Eiskirch and Jagoda Josch from Bochum – Sheffield’s Twin City in Germany.

After enjoying lunch at The Rhubarb Shed Café with MBA students from the University of Sheffield, the group were then taken on a tour of The Green Estate and even met some famous historical faces at Sheffield Manor Lodge!

The group also had a good chat with The Green Estate team about Bochum’s work on ‘spongy and sustainable’ cities and how our Pictorial Meadows team are helping to grow beautiful urban resilience in Sheffield (and beyond!)
