Manor Fields Park Bonfire Night 2026

Please note there will be no bonfire or firework display in Manor Fields Park this year.

Although there has been a history of events to mark Bonfire Night in Manor Fields Park, the difficult decision was taken in 2024 by the community partners involved in running the event that there was not the capacity and funding for this to continue.

We hope that the community stays safe on Bonfire Night, and we recommend attending other organised events. If you are planning to have your own bonfire or fireworks, please ensure you follow the guidance from South Yorkshire Fire Service (found here) and only light them in your privately owned spaces.

We continue to work with our partners at MASKK, Friends of Manor Fields Park, Manor Church and Community Project, MCDT and SCC Youth Services to support and create community activities that make the most of our green spaces at the heart of Manor Castle ward. Please see your local community network about smaller community-based activities going on in October and November.
