At Sheffield Manor Lodge we can host funerals, wakes and celebrations of life that give your dearly departed the celebration of life they deserve and provides a chance for friends and family to express their condolences, share memories and raise a glass to the deceased. Our friendly team will provide a warm welcome to your guests and our historic venues and flower filled gardens offer a tranquil space to come together.
We can help organise your time on site so that you can concentrate on spending time with your loved ones. Please talk to us about how best to personalise your event to best celebrate the life of your loved one. We can offer video projection, photograph displays and space to showcase family items that will help people share those special memories.
Manor Oaks House
Manor Oaks House extends from our 18th century farmhouse into a private cottage garden. It has a light and airy barn feel with exposed wooden beams and original stonework.
We have a well stocked bottle bar from which we can serve alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, teas and coffees.
Manor Oaks House can seat up to 100 people.
We are located a short walk from Sheffield City Road Cemetery and Crematorium and are located near to various local churches. We have free parking on site for all your guests and good public transport links.
Rhubarb Shed Catering
As well as providing a beautiful venue, we can take care of your food through our well loved, on site caterers, the Rhubarb Shed Cafe.
They offer casual buffets and afternoon teas and with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free all catered for.

- A drop off option to be planned during show round. This is to drop off any items you may want displayed so you don’t have to think about these details on the day. Our team will take great care of these sentimental items if you wish to use this service.
- All tables, chairs and dropped off items set up before arrival in requested layout.

Wake
- A scheduled show around the venue and a sit down with one of the team to discuss personalisation to the day.
- A drop off option to be planned during show round. This is to drop off any items you may want displayed so you don’t have to think about these details on the day. Our team will take great care of these sentimental items if you wish to use this service.
- All tables, chairs and dropped off items set up before arrival in requested layout.
- Exclusive use of the room for up to 4 hours until 7pm.
- Free tea and coffee for up to 60 people. Any additional tea and coffees will be charged at a discounted rate of £1.50 per person.
Service and Wake
- A scheduled show around the venue and a sit down with one of the team to discuss personalisation to the day.
- A drop off option to be planned during show round. This is to drop off any items you may want displayed so you don’t have to think about these details on the day. Our team will take great care of these sentimental items if you wish to use this service.
- All tables, chairs and dropped off items set up before arrival in requested layout.
- Exclusive use of the room for up to 8 hours until 7pm.
- Free tea and coffee for up to 60 people. Any additional tea and coffees will be charged at a discounted rate of £1.50 per person.
- Staff will turn the room around from service layout to wake layout, so you don’t have to.
