There are a number of community allotments on the Community Interest Company’s land which have some of the best views from an allotment anywhere in Sheffield. These smaller plots enable members from our community to ‘grow your own’ and enjoy the feeling of well being and the health benefits of working a plot to produce their own fruit and vegetables, and be part of a welcoming allotment community. We currently have a waiting list and we can put you on that for when allotments become available.
If you live in the S2 area of Sheffield and are new to gardening, or just would like to benefit from ‘green therapy’ and enjoy the social aspect of working with others, check out our Growing Communities programme. The scheme provides an opportunity for developing skills and knowledge around food growing – taking participants on the seasonal journey from propagation through to harvest and feasting.
