The Professional Gardeners Guild visit The Green Estate

On 12 July, 27 members of the Professional Gardeners Guild spent a day with the Pictorial Meadows team learning about all aspects of wildflower meadow establishment, design and maintenance.

The day started with an introductory presentation by our Production Manager, followed by talks on the principles of meadow maintenance and the sustainable use of herbicides by our Landscape Managers (recordings of the first two presentations can be found on our YouTube channel).

After lunch, members of the PGG were then taken to a display of machinery used for meadow maintenance, followed by a tour of the trial fields.
