The Green Estate Wins Training and Development Award

We’re delighted that The Green Estate CIC has been recognised by Opportunity Sheffield for our outstanding dedication to training and developing staff.

Martin Collins, our Head of People Services, received the award at Opportunity Sheffield’s Celebration of Advance and Advancing Digital event on 29 November.

The event celebrated training providers, participants and employers who have dedicated themselves to training and development over the past few years.

Martin said: ‘With Opportunity Sheffield’s help this year, we have been able to train and set up a Mental Health First Aider Network and put some of our staff through ILM qualifications which has supported their career progression. I’m very proud of our achievements this year.’

Roz, our CEO, said: ‘This award is really special, and credit belongs to our Head of People Services, Martin Collins, who works hard to get our team the training and support they need. Thank you to Opportunity Sheffield for helping us to improve our skills and productivity.’
