The Green Estate CIC Named ‘Winner of Winners’ by the British Chambers of Commerce

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that The Green Estate was named ‘Winner of Winners’ at the Chamber Business Awards Ceremony on 20 November 2024.

We were nominated for the ‘Winner of Winners’ Award after receiving the prestigious Green Innovation Business of the Year Award in October.

The ceremony took place at the London Stock Exchange and the award was presented to us by Shevaun Haviland, Director General of the British Chambers.

This award recognises the 21+ years of hard work our team of staff and volunteers have carried out, as well as our innovative approach to growing green and resilient urban places where people and nature can thrive.

Roz Davies, CEO of The Green Estate, said: ‘Thank you to the Sheffield Chambers of Commerce for nominating us for this award. It is an honour to receive it and fly the flag for social enterprise, Sheffield and South Yorkshire. We know our work is important and this will help us grow as a business (and make our S2 community proud!) We also hope that it will help us influence policy and practice; it is vital that we build a nature and people positive future in our cities and towns. At The Green Estate, we are demonstrating the art of the possible with our beautiful and biodiverse Pictorial Meadows, our circular economy compost and soils, and our holistic approach to place-making. We hope this can be scaled up across the country and beyond!’
