The “ECHO” Project

York House, 535 City Road, is our ‘Centre in the Park’ at Manor Fields Park where we support a variety of community groups and activities and in particular  “ECHO “.  There have been big changes at ECHO in the last few months .  In addition to selling quality, affordable second-hand clothes, we now have a Toy Swap and there is also a Community Café.

The Toy Swap enables parents to bring in toys their children no longer play with, and swap them for toys they will enjoy.  Swapping is free, and we even provide batteries if needed.

On Monday lunchtimes two volunteers, known as “Two Men in a Kitchen”, cook up a tasty hot meal to share with all visitors. Suggested donation is £2.
