Join us for an interactive online session exploring the story of Mary, Queen of Scots at Sheffield Manor Lodge.

Q. How interactive will this session be?

  • The session will last approximately 2 to 2 and half hours. There is activity book for this session which can be download or for a small charge printed and sent to your class.

Q. What is the age suitability for the session?

  • We recommend this session for KS2 children aged 7 to 11 but please get in touch if you are looking for lower or higher key stages alternatives.

Q. Will there be opportunities to ask questions?

  • We love when our young people ask questions. During the session there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions. You session leader will let you know the best time for this.

Q. Can I use the resources after the session has finished?

  • We will send you resources beforehand and activities to complete after as a PDF. These are suggestions and you may wish to adapt. Printed activity books £1 per pupil and are yours to keep.

Q. What set up will be required for this session?

  • We use Microsoft Teams. Don’t worry if you are unsure about the technology. We will include a 15 minute set up time with your teachers before the session.

Q. Can I book a familiarisation visit?

  • We are open to the public every Sunday May to September and Monday to Thursday in Sheffield School holidays if you would like to come and explore our site.

Q. Can I still book an in-person visit.

  • Of course!!! We still believe the best way to enjoy Sheffield Manor Lodge is in person if you are able to. Please get in touch with our team for availability and information.
