Marvellous Meadows at The Green Estate CIC

The Green Estate CIC are celebrating National Meadows Day on Sunday 6 July with the return of Marvellous Meadows!
This is the one event of the year where we open up our entire site to the public.
On the day, you will be able to:
• Enjoy exclusive access across our Manor Lane site as it becomes a blaze of colour
• Explore the beautiful flower meadows in the grounds of Sheffield Manor Lodge and in the Pictorial Meadows trial fields
• Take part in fun meadow-themed crafts at The Discovery Centre and enjoy outdoor nature activities
• Discover how meadows benefit people, pollinators and our planet
• Find out more about The Green Estate’s work to grow green and resilient urban places for people and nature to thrive
• Meet The Green Estate’s staff, volunteers and partners we’re working with across our site
• Enjoy food, refreshments and outdoor games at our stunning events venue, Manor Oaks House
Self-Led Tours
Enjoy a self-led tour of The Green Estate with our site map, which highlights key areas of interest.
You will be able to pick up a printed copy of the site map upon your arrival from a member of staff.

Entry
Entry times are 10am and 12pm. You can stay onsite until 2pm.
Parking
Parking is available at Manor Oaks House. The address for this car park is 389 Manor Lane, Sheffield, S2 1UL.
Additional parking will also be available at The Discovery Centre. The address for this car park is 197 Manor Lane, Sheffield, S2 1UJ.
Parking is also available along Manor Lane.
Where Can I Purchase Food/Drinks?
Refreshments and sandwiches will be available to purchase inside Manor Oaks House.
Drinks, snacks and Our Cow Molly ice cream will also be available to purchase at The Discovery Centre.
The Rhubarb Shed Café near Manor Oaks House will be open from 10am, however we strongly recommend booking a table in advance as it can get very busy. You can book a table by calling 07375 366429.
The café will also be offering takeouts and you are very welcome to have a picnic in our grounds, but please avoid leaving any litter.
