Manor Oaks House

Under an oak beamed ceiling wrapped with fairy lights a bride walks up the aisle on her wedding day. She walks with her father up an aisle and surrounded by happy guests. The groom and head bridesmaid stand at the front waiting for her arrival.

Rhubarb Shed Catering

A glazed roast beef joint sits on a wooden serving tray. Two slices have been cut at the end and laid flat. it is cooked medium. Next to the joint sit three Yorkshire puddings and a stack of roast potato's . The plate is garnished with green salad and there is a whit just with gravy. The serving board wits on a dark wood tables with a fern leaf for decoration.

Both our beef dinner wedding breakfast and evening buffet are provided by our onsite caterers The Rhubarb Shed. All you need to do is provide your table plan and dietary requirements and they’ll do the rest.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are available for the beef dinner. The evening buffet can cater for all dietary requirement but please be aware, there may be an additional charge if a large number of changes are needed.

Drinks

Included in your ceremony package is a post ceremony Prosecco, or Nozecco or orange juice alternative.

We have a selection of drinks packages available for table wine, toast and arrival drinks.

We have a fully stocked bottle bar and drinks packages available at Manor Oaks House.

You have all the fun and we deal with the boring bits

In our winter wedding package we’ll cover all your setup for you so there’s very little to think about on the day. We’ll just need your printed table plan (if you want one) for our easel and your cake. We’re happy to add a few extra touches such as memory tables and you can choose to use our PA system – just bring along your playlist, or any band or DJ of your choosing. Please note that additional venue dressing is not possible a part of our winter package.

How it all works

Pre-wedding meeting – We’ll meet with you 6-8 weeks before your wedding date to plan your day, go through all the details and spend time answering all your questions. If you have questions at any other time you can always give us an email or a ring. The best time is Tuesday to Thursday.

Ceremony – Your ceremony takes place between 12:30pm and 5pm and can be a legal or celebrant ceremony. All you need to do in advance is book your registrar or celebrant and on the day bring a device with pre loaded aisle walk music and we’ll do the rest.

Set up – We’ll spend the morning making the venue look gorgeous for you and curtain off the pre set up tables. If there are any small additional these can be dropped off in advance for us to set up. Cakes can be dropped off in the morning.

Turnaround – After your ceremony we’ll nip the curtain away. You’ll have your post ceremony drink pre poured as we move the tables into a layout of your choosing.

Reception – Receptions can start from 5pm. Our Friday close time is 11pm with music switch off at 10:30pm and our Saturday close time is 12midnight with music switch off at 11:30pm.

Food and drink – You’ll need to discuss any dietary requirements with the Rhubarb Shed directly. You can pre order any package drinks at your pre wedding meeting.
