Hours of work:   The working week for this post is 37.5 hours, exclusive of lunch breaks. Seasonal evening / weekend work may be required for which Time off in Lieu system operates

Location of work: The post will be based on the Green Estate Manor Lodge site but occasional travelling to customer and works sites nationally and internationally is an integral part of the job

Job Description

To undertake a varied range of Field / Horticultural activities that will assist in the production and management of Meadow Turf and other related products

 

Skills required

    • Some proven experience of Field work, Landscape, Horticulture or gardening
    • A sound understanding and practical experience of general horticultural practices such as seed sowing, weed control and  ground preparation.
    • Strong interest in plants and growing
    • Able to work alone and or as part of a team
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Versatile and Adaptable
    • Tact and diplomacy
    • Self-motivated and highly organised
    • A desire to work for a social enterprise
    • Positive and friendly approach
    • A willingness to train and expand personal skills base
    • Hold a UK current full driving licence
